SHINE is a network for people who work in the information and library sector in health and social care. We aim to:
- share good practice,
- provide professional development opportunities, and
- share resources.
The pre-cursor to SHINE was formed in the early 1970s by Toni Bunch, the first professional librarian to be appointed in the Scottish Health Service in 1965. The early, informal group was officially constituted as the Association of Scottish Health Sciences Librarians (ASHL) in 1975.
Membership
Individual membership of SHINE is £15 per year. Please contact us if you would like to join and for information about institutional rates.
